This week Pingree Grove and Countryside personnel along with the MABAS Division 2 Haz-Mat Team, trained on railroad tank cars. The training consisted of lecture about Railroad Safety, features of tank cars, what to do if a tank car is leaking. And then hands on with different domes that are on top of tank cars and different types of valves, and how to stop leaks. The Canadian Pacific Railroad provided the training and also provided lunch for all personnel. The training was three days and held at Pingree Grove Station 3. Over 65 personnel attended the training.
