This morning firefighters participated in a fire drill and led a fire safety program for the Pre-K, Kindergarten, and First Grade students at the Cambridge Lakes Charter School. Firefighters Jeanette Silva Haro, Alex Ramirez, Andrew Beverly, Annamae Valdivia, and Debra Bevins covered safety programs for “Calling 911”, “Stop, Drop, and Roll”, demonstrating putting on their fire gear, and crawling-low in smoke. Students also got a tour of the fire engine that included an “I Spy” game with fire fighting equipment.
