| On Friday, September 11, 2026, the Pingree Grove & Countryside Fire Protection District hosted its 25th Anniversary 9/11 Memorial Ceremony at Station 3. The event commemorated the anniversary of September 11 and honored those affected by the tragedy.
The ceremony included the Posting of the Colors by the Pingree Grove Honor Guard, the singing of The Star-Spangled Banner, and an opening speech from Chief Stout. Fire Chaplain Koonz led the attendees in a prayer, followed by remarks from Honor Guard Commander Saccomanno.
The ceremony featured the ringing of the bell in memory of the events of 9/11, as well as the traditional Four Fives to honor fallen firefighters. Amazing Grace was played, and Chief Stout delivered closing remarks.
