| On May 23rd, at 2:28 pm, the Pingree Grove and Fire Protection District (PGFPD) was dispatched to the 38W600 block of Highland Avenue for a reported shed fire. When crews arrived, their efforts to control the fire were temporarily delayed by a locked electric gate, which prevented immediate access to the property. Units located a shed measuring approximately 10x25 feet, with heavy smoke and visible flames showing from the cedar shingled roof. The fire was under control within 10 minutes.
