While returning from the previous call at 6:53 pm Pingree Grove Engine 1213 came upon a 2 Vehicle Accident with Heavy Damage at Rt 72 & Wester Blvd. Dispatch was notified. On further investigation personnel found 3 patients and the need for Extrication. The call was upgraded to a Vehicle Extrication. 1202 took Command and 1401 was assigned Extrication Officer. Rt 72 and Wester Blvd were completely shut down. One occupant was Extricated. 2 occupants were transported to a local hospital. 1 patient signed a medical release. Route 72 was closed for about 45 minutes. The scene was turned over to Pingree Grove Police and is under investigation.
