Request for Service
- Request for either the honor or color guard, other than a funeral, must attempt to be made within thirty (30)-days of the event. All requests are made through the Guard Commander and approved by the members of the guard and the District Deputy Chief.
- In order to maintain good public relations, request for services of the guard is not limited to events hosted by the Village of Pingree Grove or the Pingree Grove & Countryside Fire Protection District. Requests will be categorized as volunteer events.
- Any financial donation received by the Guard for duties served, will be given to the Pingree Grove & Countryside Fire Protection District, and used exclusively for the benefit of the Honor Guard, (i.e. uniform or equipment purchases, travel or training costs).
