Today at 1239 pm Pingree Grove & Countryside responded to a single Vehicle Accident in front of 13N635 Coombs Rd. On arrival Personnel found that a vehicle had hit a Electric Pole and continued to travel about 50 feet. Vehicle had Heavy front end damage. The Pole was totally destroyed, but the primary lines stayed intact. the home owners in the area did lose power. One patient was transported to the hospital. Com-Ed was called to the scene. The scene was turned over to Kane County Sheriff's Police and Com-Ed. Coombs was closed for an undertermined time.
