At 3:04 pm on Friday, Pingree Grove & Countryside responded to Route 72 & Richard J. Brown Blvd for a roll over vehicle vs a semi-truck Accident. Upon arrival Personnel found a Vehicle on its side and a Semi-Truck off the road. There was one patient in the car with multiple injuries and needing Extrication. A Medical Helicopter, second Ambulance and third Engine were requested to the scene. The Driver of the Semi signed a medical release. The driver of the car was transported by the Helicopter to a Level One Trauma Center. The scene was turned over to P/D and the Accident is under investigation. Route 72 was closed for an undetermined time.
