Pingree Grove Countryside responded Mutual Aid to Burlington for a Field Fire this afternoon. The Fire was in a Corn Field. Pingree Chiefs Assisted with Operations and Water Supply and the Brush Truck assisted with Fire Control. The Fire started south of the CN railroad tracks, jumped the tracks, and later jumped over a creek. The Fire also got into some wooded areas. Units were on the scene for about 3.5 hours. The Fire is under investigation and there were no injuries.
