Accident with Extrication

This morning at 8:52 am, Pingree Grove & Countryside was dispatched for an accident with extrication involving a semi-truck and a car at Route 47 South of McDonald Road. On arrival personnel found a car underneath a semi-truck trailer with one person trapped in the car. A medical helicopter was called to the scene and personnel started a long extrication. The extrication took over an hour and twenty minutes. A heavy wrecker was used to lift the trailer off the car and another wrecker was used to move the car away from the trailer. One occupant from the car was transported to Sherman Hospital, the other occupant was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in critical condition, the truck driver was treated and signed a medical release.The scene was turned over to police and is under investigation
