Last night at 9:27 pm Pingree Grove & Countryside was dispatched for a vehicle accident with injuries, at Big Timber Rd and Powers Rd. On arrival personnel found a two vehicle accident with heavy damage. One vehicle was on fire and one vehicle was off the road with a person needing to be extricated from the vehicle.

A medical helicopter was dispatched to the scene. The fire was extinguished. The patient extrication took some time due to the damage, vehicle being on its side and the patients condition.

The scene was turned over to the Kane County Sheriff and is under investigation. Big Timber Rd was closed for a while until the investigation was over.
