On December 10th just after 10 AM I suffered sudden cardiac arrest. Fortunately my wife was in the same room with me and noticed I was not breathing. She called 911 and help arrived VERY QUICKLY! The paramedics used the Lucas to revive me the first time and then (they tell me) I was revived a second time in the ambulance. The excellent training and talent of our paramedics saved my life. While I have no memory of anything, my family has told me over and over that it was the PGFD that saved my life. Their kindness and concern for my wife is also very appreciated.

Just a note to tell you how much I appreciate the help I receive.
This morning I fell, second time in a month, I'm unable to stand by myself. I call 911 and within 5 minutes a crew is here to help. The fire crew are always so helpful and concerned about my well being.
My wife and I are very happy to have such a great fire crew nearby.
