On Saturday at 11:07 am, Pingree Grove & Countryside responded to a reported field fire at Tower Rd. and Rohrsen Rd. Upon arrival crews found Two Large Brush piles burning and a fire in a cut cornfield. Two Mutual Aid Brush Trucks were requested. 5500 Gallons of water was used, and about 3 acres Burned. Personnel spent most of the time overhauling and extinguishing two large brush piles. A backhoe was used to break up the piles. Firefighters were in the scene for Over two hours.
