The Pingree Grove Fire Protection District was dispatched for a garage fire at 2220 Aurora Drive @19:26 on January 17, 2018. Upon arrival heavy fire was visible from one unit of a multiple unit garage structure. The fire was extinguished and contained to the single unit. No injuries have been reported. Automatic mutual aid assistance was provide by Hampshire, Burlington, South Elgin, Fox River, and Rutland Dundee fire departments. The fire investigation task force is investigating the cause of the fire.
